CAPS Cavan Autism Parents Support CLG

Cavan Autism Parents Support CLG is a registered charity and the first of it’s kind in Cavan, which has been solely set up to support the parents, carers and children/young adults with autism in Cavan and surrounding areas.

We currently have 73 families & 85 children/young adults on our books.

C.A.P.S. is the brainchild of Bernie Nelson who’s son is autistic. At C.A.P.S. we conduct almost all of our work on a fundraising basis with little government funding. We certainly would not be able to provide any of these camps/activities without the ongoing support we get from our fundraising events throughout the year and our volunteers.
